Air-Land-Sea

This is what happens when you add a 35 dollar acrylic ball and a 50 cent box of Jello together. If you don't know what an acrylic ball is, it is used for contact juggling. (which I should be practicing THAT with it instead of taking pictures of it...) The ball is 3 inches in diameter and is crystal clear. It refracts light so much that when you look though it, everything appears upside down. There is a desk lamp above it cause the bright reflections on the ball and the column of light through the Jello.

The reason I named it Air-Land-Sea is that the middle portion looks like some abstract version of the three. You have the dark blue sky with a layer of clouds, a small mountain, and all that is sitting on the clear blue sea. I know it's a stretch but hey, that's what imagination is for.

And don't ask me why I decided to sit an expensive object on some Jello; it seemed like a good idea at the time.
